In the survey conducted by Times Now, 86 per cent candidates voted in favor and wanted to postpone NEET PG 2022. Most of the candidates who took part in the voting voted to postpone the competitive medical examination. As of now, NEET PG 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on May 21, 2022.

Apart from 86 per cent of the candidates who voted yes, about 12 per cent of the candidates voted against the adjournment and the remaining 2 per cent did not decide. As there was not enough time to prepare for NEET PG exam, candidates started demanding ‘Postpone NEET PG 2022’ on social media and reached out to the concerned medical authorities to change the exam date.

Federation of All India Medical Association, FAIMA Doctors Association and All India Medical Students Association, AIMSA are the two main organizations that have reached out to Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya regarding the postponement of the postgraduate medical examination.

On April 30, MCC withdrew the provisional result declared for NEET PG 2021 counseling straw vacancy round and declared the final result on May 2, 2022, causing another delay for the candidates.

The letter written by FAIMA further states that “In view of the removal of several hurdles, the NEET PG 2021 candidates should get a fair chance to participate in the ongoing counseling and prepare for the NEET PG 2022 examination.”

While there is no definite answer as to whether NEET PG 2022 will be postponed or not, candidates and NEET aspirants continue to rally their cause till their demands are heard. Candidates are advised to follow the verified channels of information regarding latest NEET PG 2022 news.
