Inaugurated Bharat Pride Tourist Train Connecting Places Ramayana Circuit Flagged off from Safdarjung Railway Station in New Delhi on Tuesday in India and Nepal. Union Railway Minister ashwini vaishnav The train was flagged off along with Tourism and Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy.
Bharat Gaurav Train Will arrive with 500 tourists from India Janakpur Dhami Railway station in Nepal on Thursday. This tourist train crossing the India-Nepal international border is expected to boost tourism in a more holistic manner.
Indian Railway Catering and tourism corporation(IRCTC) 18-days Shri Ramayana Yatra The special tourist train will take the pilgrims to the holy places associated with the life of Lord Rama. The train consisting of 11 third AC class coaches has a seating capacity of about 600 passengers. The total cost of the first trip on the Ramayana circuit for 18 days is around Rs 62,370 per person and is all inclusive.

The train running on the Ramayana circuit will cover the religious site of Janakpur (Nepal) for the first time besides other popular destinations like Ayodhya, Nandigram. SitamarhiVara-Nasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Panchavati (Nashik), Hampi, rameshwaram and Bhadrachalam,” the Indian embassy here said.

Each coach of the train has been designed as a kaleidoscope of ‘Pride of India’, highlighting various aspects of India like monuments, cuisine, dress, festivals, flora and fauna, folk art etc.

Nepal and India had long ago agreed to form a Ramayana circuit to promote Hinduism.

The Ramayana Circuit is one of the 15 thematic circuits identified for development under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme of the Ministry of Tourism, India.

The train has 14 coaches and the exteriors of some coaches promote various classical and folk dance forms, costumes, popular festivals, cuisines of the country.
