According to the Ministry of Railways, the upgraded rake is equipped with PICCU (Passenger Information and Coach Computing Unit) provided with connectivity of GSM network, which reports to the remote server. The PICCU installed in the upgraded Tejas rake of Rajdhani Special will record the data of WSP, toilet odor sensor, CCTV, panic switch as well as fire detection and alarm system, air quality and choke filter sensor as well as energy meter . .
